Letter to the Editor: Preserve Land Adjacent to Perry Hall High School

Dear Editor:

I am writing to inform the community that I have contacted Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks in support of designating the wooded property adjacent to Perry Hall High School as a park site. I am opposed to development of this property and I have made this known to the appropriate authorities. Although it hopefully will be designated as parkland, it does not necessarily have to be cleared and can stay in its current wooded state. Baltimore County, and the Eighth District in particular, is lacking open space, and I would be highly disappointed if the county did not leave it in its current pristine state.
